Rural China Project
Sponsored by the TEFL International in Zhuhai and Cultural Extremes,
the Rural China Project trains and places native English speakers in
small poor town schools in China. This project allows you to put newly
acquired teaching skills to work in ssmall communities in China that could not normally afford native English-speaking teachers.
Be a Teacher in a Poor Chinese School for Four Months... or More!
At the completion of the program you are free to stay on and work if you
and the school agree or we will assist you in finding a paying position
in China.
The 5-month program includes:
Dr. Bill Leon, and instructor in the Program Evaluation department atthe University of Washington, specializing in Education Program
Evaluation, will develop a credit evaulation of your program for
university credit.

Cost: US$1,980 minus paid salary of approximately $1,500 + free
